Back from the Brink

Indian stage managed unprovoked military aggression launched against Pakistan on May 7, 2025 with strikes against civilian targets across the Line of Control(LoC) as well as across the International Borders using Pahalgam shooting False Flag Operation as an excuse. That compelled Pakistan to undertake well measured and effective retaliatory counter strikes on Indian Military targets from 8 to 10 May with PAF aircraft downing 5 Indian modern aircraft, drones and finally missile strike on more than two dozen Indian military bases causing severe destruction. Besides, the Army deployed along the LoC destroyed a number of Indian posts and Headquarters forcing the foes to raise white flags. The upper hand that Pakistan military achieved in just three days and nights forced Indian to accept USA brokered ceasefire( with KSA, UK and Turkiye also playing positive role) at 1630 hours on May 10, 2025, which was confirmed by CNN: “India and Pakistan have agreed to a ceasefire after weeks of tension and back-and-forth strikes, with India’s foreign secretary saying the halt in fighting is now in effect. CNN International Diplomatic Editor, Nic Robertson and CNN Chief Global Affairs correspondent, Matthew Chance report on the latest”. It goes without saying that had Pakistan not achieved convincing supremacy in full spectrum military response i.e. C4IRS(command , control, communication, computers, intelligence and reconnaissance) in just 48 hours in a short and intense military conflict fought under Nuclear Umbrella, with Israel directly supporting India with reported physical presence and with latest drones (approximately 78 shot down by Pakistan Air Defence out of 80 launched inside Pakistan), neither the brokers would have bothered not India would have accepted ceasefire with Pakistan’s ascendancy in place.

By the Grace of Almighty Allah, the unprovoked military misadventure launched by Indian with open support from Israel(and her creators and  keepers), both India and Pakistan have walked back from the Brink of a Nuclear Exchange and a War of Complete Obliteration. The brave and professional Pakistani Armed Forces have made the people of Pakistan proud and thankful who stood shoulder to shoulder with the military displaying extraordinary courage and sense of humour. While the ceasefire violations may continue to be experienced along the LoC, the overall risk of operational ladder crossing the threshold seem to have been averted.

The belligerent India has faced serious humiliation on Political, diplomatic, military, psychological, ideological and economic fronts, which forced PM Modi to sack Amy Generals, Air Vice Chief and many others soon before as well as soon after initiation of military operations. Politically it may cost Modi state elections in Bihar and UP, diplomatic Indian Bollywood style false flag operation and military aggression against Nuclear Armed Pakistan didi not get a nod from any country, military humiliation for India started with shooting down  of 3 Modern French Rafael, one SU-30 and one Mig-29 aircraft and almost 80 Israeli modern drones, destruction of 26 military/ air bases and dozens of posts/ headquarters along the LoC,  psychological set back to Indian population fed on lies by Indian electronic and social media is manifested by screaming Indian anchors, generals, officials and mass protests on the streets, Ideologically RSS/BJP/ Modi propaganda of Akhand  Bharat stands quashed, and finally financial loss of billions of dollars in just four days of unleashed war will make sober minds in India to replace BJP/ Modi with better leadership. Indian war mongers shall never forget the nights pf 8, 9 May and dawn of May 10, 2025; and shall force them to think million times before casting an evil eye on Pakistan. The Pakistan military leadership and personnel get full applause from the people of Pakistan and from all friendly countries especially from Turkiye, Azerbaijan and China. The ISPR, military operation directorate and Pakistani electronic, social and print media did a wonderful job in exposing Indian false narratives effectively and timely.

For Pakistan, the strategic advantages gained in just 72 hours based on the continued preparations of last many decades bring home proud moments. However, guarding ideological and geographical frontiers of Pakistan is a continuous and sustained process , and not an end. The follow up dialogue with India after ceasefire are bound to include the major bane of contention i.e. resolution of Kashmir  issue as per UN Resolution, non-violation of Indus water treaty in letter and spirit, no stoppage or diversion of  water from Chenab, Jehlum and Indus rivers, removal of Bloch terrorists groups’ leadership from India, no acceptance of Israeli military footprints in IIOJ&K, cessation and futility of False Flag Operations, no use of Afghan and Iran’s soil for launching covert operations in Pakistan, no-ceasefire violations along the LoC, and above all need to maintain regular military to military  communications open through time tested DGMO channel to ward against any misadventure both being Nuclear Armed States.

Pakistan must regains political stability, economic sovereignty and improve political and diplomatic dialogue with public representation in the national and international media through capable, experienced and respected people. The nightmare of a Nuclear Apocalypse is over for the time-being; yet, any complacency or arrogance must not be allowed to prevail. The stability lies in formidable political, economic and military alliance like SCO and CSTO.
